Yullia Rabinovich is a Russian born violinist and a teacher with over fifteen years of teaching experience and over twenty years of performing experience.
She began her studies at the age of three, with her father a Soviet Union professor and a violinist. Yullia, was only seven years old when she won second place in city's young talent competition, held in former Soviet Union, republic of Uzbekistan.
Followed by her family's immigration to Israel, Yullia continued studying and playing in the youth orchestra. In the early 90's, Yullia's family immigrated yet again, this time to Canada, Montreal. She began her studies with a renowned violinist and teacher Eleonora Turovsky. When Yullia was fourteen years old, she was featured in her teacher's film, a documentary called Le Violon sur la toile.
Yullia came to British Columbia after her post secondary graduation in Quebec, and began studying under Angela Cavadas, an associate concertmaster at Vancouver Opera. After completing her performance degree in violin major, she began teaching at the Academy of Music and Dance for ten years, as well as privately. Yullia continues to perform accross British Columbia with The Kamloops Symphony Orchestra, The Burnaby Symphony Orchestra, New Westminster Symphony Orchestra, Vancouver Pilgrim Symphony Orchestra.
